Fresh and Fruity Desserts For This Summer ☀

As summer and the warm weather approaches, it is easy to fall victim to too many summer sweets and treats. Here are two super simple alternatives that incorporate lots of fresh fruit:

1.    After washing, combine your favorite fruit & berries in a bowl—strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, and/or blackberries are a few that go well together

To finish, sprinkle with ground cinnamon and top with a tbsp. of whipped cream!

 

 2.    Craving something chocolatey?!

Dip fresh fruit in freshly melted chocolate, let dry, and enjoy!

Strawberries, banana, pineapple, and apple are some yummy options

 

Tip: try to limit yourself and your kids to desserts that you make at home; baking together is a fun family activity, plus you gain control and knowledge of what goes into your treat!
